Darrell K. Back and Mary Ann Back have been called to serve as the mission president over the Australia Sydney South Mission. They will serve starting June 2014 until June 2017. Darrell and Mary Ann Back are from Sandy Utah. At home they have 6 daughters and 1 son, all of whom are married. Mary Ann grew up in Twin Falls, Idaho while Darrell Back grew up in Salt Lake City. Darrell served his mission in the Melbourn, Australia. He has always wanted to return to visit his mission but has never had the opportunity.
Darrell and Mary Ann met while they were students at BYU. They love to vacation with their family. One of the Backs favorite vacations is going to Lake Powell where they love to have tubbing wars, water ski and spend time with their family.
Mary Ann and Darrell are excited to serve the people and missionaries residing in the Australia Sydney South mission and share their love and faith with them.
